Résumé : |
The importance of promoting and maintaining a healthy workforce is increasingly being recognised. Many organisations are already active in health promotion, particularly tobacco control. Existing systems include health-related policies, occupational health and health & safety departments, and a corporate culture and ethos that places importance on employee health and well-being. Workplace health promotion programmes should be a core element of the organisation's corporate ethos. This requires support at senior management level, with responsability for implementation shared among several individuals or departments. |
